HIFEM =high intensity focused electromagnetic. The electromagnetic energy is channeled through the EMSCULPT paddles and stimulates the targeted muscles to produce an involuntary supramaximal contraction. The quick repeated muscle contractions produce a chemical signalling the local fat cells to break down in order to maintain the rapid muscle contractions.
