CORE2FLOOR THERAPY
CORE2FLOOR Therapy
Your pelvic organs (bladder, uterus & bowel) are held in place by ligaments and fascia – they connect & stabilise the pelvic organs to the pelvis.

Sometimes during birth, surgery or from different medial conditions, these ligaments and fascia are stretched or damaged. Having a strong core and pelvic floor is so important to keep these organs supported.

When they are not supported it can lead to symptoms such as stress urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and pain.

Combining your Emsella and the Emsculpt abdomen treatments is what we call ‘Core to floor
therapy’.

Age is no limit, whether you gave birth a few months ago or many years ago out team is here to help you with your symptoms!

Emsulpt Abdomen

Emsella Chair
Core to floor therapy strengthens from below your diaphragm (top of your six pack) all the way down and around to your coccyx (tail bone) which not only supports your pelvic floor better but also your core, back and pelvis!

The increase in muscle mass also helps support your metabolism. - Helping you to burn your own fat stores more efficiently after you finish your treatments.
Core to floor therapy utilises two HIFEM (High intensity frequent electromagnetic energy) therapies to strengthen, firm and tone the abdomen and pelvic floor muscles. The result is increased muscle hypertrophy and hyperplasia and restoration of neuromuscular control, which can improve strength and balance as well as incontinence.
If you imagine the pelvic floor muscles as a hammock, then picture the reduced strength in the core causing that “hammock” to droop lower and provide less support. If the pelvic floor muscles are weakened, this not only affects urinary and bowel control, but can affect respiration and posture, and cause prolapse of the pelvic organs, constipation, and pain. Strengthening both the core muscles and pelvic floor encourages the different muscle groups to simultaneously work more effectively.
After the age of 30 one loses roughly 3% to 5% of one's muscle mass per decade*
67% of women with abdominal separation have pelvic floor disorder*
26% of people with back discomfort blamed weak muscles or a lack of exercise
Your Core2Floor treatment plan can be started six weeks postpartum (vaginal birth) or 12 weeks postpartum for Caesarean births.
